Company Scenario :

Our client is an emerging portable power company answering the call for safer, longer lasting Lithium-ion batteries – today. With their Management Team of recognized authorities in the battery industry and sound backing from leading venture capital firms.

 Responsibilities: 

Build a high performance team
1. Build up the factory from scratch.
2.Recruit, train, and motivate high performance team members.
3.Model and coach company culture.
Execute and improve manufacturing processes
1.Define and implement data collection and metrics. Set goals for metrics.
2.Monitor all metrics using statistical methods, and drive continuous improvement activities.
Deliver financial results
1.Budget and control spending according to business plans.
2.Monitor yield, scrap and material WIP/inventory, E&O, ensure best in class material costs.
Lead continuous improvement activities
1.Be a champion for lean, 6 sigma and CI activates.
2.Maintain a funnel of improvement projects, prioritize it with resources and schedule, and deliver results.

 Top 3 Requirements: 

1.Over 12 years experience in technical fields, within which at least 5 years in management.Engineering or science degrees are required, and advanced degrees are preferred.
2. Solid knowledge and proven track record in SPC, lean manufacturing, 6 sigma and continuous improvement methods. Good understanding in quality system.
3.Strong management experience in global matrix organization. Fluent in Chinese as well as English written and verbal.

 Special Requirements: 

1.Hands on aptitude in technical subjects, and capable of solving complex technical issues. Proven creativity in technical subjects are preferred.
2.Strong financial experience is preferred.
